Office Administrator

We are searching for a skilled Office Administrator to join our multi award-winning team.

  • Two days per week (preferably Tuesday & Wednesday), with one extra day once a month

  • Based in Newport / working from home arrangements during Govt restrictions

  • Immediate start

Duties will include but not limited to:

Financial Administration (50%)

  • Accounts Payable - verifying receipts, processing invoices etc

  • Accounts Receivable - calling customers for overdue invoices, processing credit card payments, dealing with account related queries etc

  • Payroll management – staff salaries and wages, managing payroll taxes and withholdings, EOFY accounts

 

Office Administration (45%)

  • Ensure office supplies are stocked

  • Coordinate with marketing on staff uniforms

  • Manage incoming post, phone calls and emails

  • Support the team with ad hoc office management tasks (office tech equipment, company vehicle registrations etc)

 

HR Administration (5%)

  • Manage staff Christmas gifts

  • Assist with the coordination of meetings when required

  • Ad hoc recruitment tasks - scheduling interviews, screening candidates etc

Criteria: 

  • Proficient in Xero

  • Adept in bookkeeping

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, Teams, Zoom and more

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role

  • Business qualification is desirable but not essential

  • Superb organisation and time-management skills

  • Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities at once and deliver

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team

Landscape Construction Tradesperson

We are seeking a full time qualified Landscape Construction Tradesperson to join our professional, friendly landscape construction team.

 

  • Full time - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

  • Locations will be spread across Sydney, mainly the Northern Beaches, North Shore and Eastern Suburbs.

Duties will cover all aspects of landscape construction including but not limited to:

• Reading plans;

• Setting out projects;

• Adjusting grades;

• Paving with stone/brick/concrete;

• Forming and pouring concrete;

• Timber work eg. screens / fencing, as well as sleeper work;

• Stone work using stone cladding products and working with natural stone;

• Irrigation;

• Brick work for walling / steps;

• and soft landscaping including soil preparation, planting, turfing etc.

 

Criteria:

• WHS White card

• NSW Drivers licence and reliable vehicle

• Police Check

• Certificate III (Landscape) or similar

• Proven ability to follow procedures and instructions and the ability to communicate with clients on routine matters

• Good physical fitness

• Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision

• Able to think proactively and plan ahead

• Basic reading and writing skills

• Reliable, punctual and honest

• A chemical handling certificate would be well regarded but not essential

 

Horticulturalist / Garden Maintenance Professional

We are seeking a full time qualified horticulturist to join our professional, friendly, residential garden maintenance team.

 

  • Full time - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

  • Locations will be spread across Sydney, mainly the Northern Beaches, North Shore and Eastern Suburbs.

 

Criteria:

  • TAFE Qualifications – Certificate III Horticulture or equivalent

  • Plant, pest and disease identification skills and soil knowledge

  • Current OH&S White Card

  • Driver's licence Class C

  • Experience with equipment such as hedge trimmers, mowers, whipper snippers and blowers.

 

In addition, you will have:

  • An eye for detail

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • An enthusiastic and professional manner

  • A reliable work history

  • The ability to be trained to use our job management platform Geo-Op.

Garden Maintenance Apprentice

Are you studying for a Certificate III Horticulture or equivalent? This is a role to really get your career going! Work with us on award winning projects and learn everything there is to know about garden maintenance.

 

Criteria:

• WHS White card

• NSW Drivers licence and reliable vehicle

• Police Check

• Proven ability to follow procedures and instructions

• Good physical fitness

• Basic reading and writing skills

• Reliable, punctual and honest
