Our North Sydney project was a pocket-sized garden on Sydney’s lower North Shore, however when working on this site, Joanne and Rory made every centimetre count, packing big ideas into a small space.
In the finished design, formal elements including crisp squared-off edges and clipped topiary, play off freeform aspects such as the striking crazy paving beside the pool and on the patio. A combination of sawn local sandstones in various formats were used for pavements and wall treatments, while native hardwoods form featured screens, gates and balustrades.
The result, an inviting and stylish outdoor space that finally lives up to the vista generously laid out before it.
