French architecture firm RMGB have created a smooth & stylish mezzanine apartment that is nothing less then ‘super beautiful’. The open plan living / dining / kitchen area is light, warm and oh so smooth. A few of my favorite things to note about this space are the Bolefloore solid timber oak flooring with wavy Edges. Bolefloor is the first industrial-scale manufacturer of hardwood flooring with naturally curved lengths that follows a trees natural growth and let just say I am 100% in love.
I am also a major fan of the material blocking in the kitchen. The joinery varies in size & materials yet somehow doesn’t create any disjoint within the space, in fact the flow through the kitchen is soft and slow. Combining a wide selection of timber, marbles and other materials is a bold decision and RMGB have pulled of with Parisian chic.
The mezzanine level hits you hard with a punch of electric blue, bringing a playful note to the stylish apartment. So much to love, my eyes are very happy!
