La Alhambra, Granada, Spain

Landscape designers, Architects and Interior Designers (and anyone in between) have been inspired by la Alhambra’s collection of spaces for centuries, whether it’s the Nasrid Palaces, Garden of Generalife, Alcazaba or the towers and higher Alhambra.

Apart from its breath taking beauty and incredible level of detail, what I love most about La Alhambra is its use of light and shadow to define space, create atmosphere and force perspectives.

The classic planting schedule has been the inspiration behind many of our landscape design projects – featuring the Italian Cypress Pines, Balled Buxus, Magnolia trees, scented shrubs, and a carefully laid out selection of evergreen and deciduous trees (and so much more).
