With 30 years of experience designing and building quality gardens, Joanne Green Landscape Design (JGLD) is considered by many to be one of the leading landscape design and construct companies in Australia. To date we have received over 16 awards from the prestigious Landscape Contractors Association of NSW (LCA), including three “Landscape Construction of the Year” awards, for our creative solutions. None of it would be possible without the real passion we feel for building beautiful gardens.

In the beginning, Joanne and her team only worked on small residential gardens. Today, the company offers a full suite of services to take any garden project from concept to completion and beyond, with the provision of comprehensive professional care and maintenance. In between, the team has worked on countless private and commercial gardens, from homes in Sydney, to beachfront developments in Newport, to the Hyatt Hotel in Canberra.

Our professionals in design, construction, and maintenance are all qualified experts in their respective fields, and bring considerable talent and enthusiasm to bear on each job. In the area of design, we believe that our commitment to excellence and attention to minute details are essential in allowing us to build better gardens. Planning and preparation are given a disproportionate amount of project time to ensure everything is absolutely perfect before beginning. Our experience with a wide range of environments and plants also serves to give your garden an edge in sustainability, as we select species that are uniquely suited to each garden’s climatic conditions.

Although we are proud of our ability to offer original garden designs to suit the needs of each client, our construction and horticultural teams also build projects that have been designed by others, such as Jane Coleman of Jane Coleman Landscape Architect P/L, with whom we have collaborated.

Above all, we understand that a garden should be for the enjoyment of its owners. It gives us great pride to present our clients with these creations that will only grow more rewarding with the passing of time.

Joanne is involved in garden consultation, garden design, quoting and site supervision.

Design

Rory Graham — Landscape Designer

Rory’s role is to prepare the design documentation for the projects, and assist clients in product selection.

Construction Team

Tim Frost — Construction Manager

Tim brings years of invaluable experience to the table as the team’s Construction Manager, preparing quotes and budget estimates for all projects while also overseeing work on each and every construction site.
